Description
SENIOR ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT  (ALIS/ODIN) DoD Secret w/ SSBI

Position Description: Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. Sets standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.). Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Working knowledge of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. Minimum Education Required: MS or MA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a Related Technical Discipline. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A BS or BA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for an MS or MA degree

Minimum Experience Required:
    • Ten (10) years of recent enterprise architect experience.
    • Three (3) years of the foregoing total experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.
    • Experience planning, defining, and implementing architectures to support business and engineering applications and data with a focus on data access in useful formats, adapting to changing business needs, accurate and consistent data, organizational data sharing, and maintaining affordable costs.
    • Experience employing systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex IT systems.
    • Certified as Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
    • IAM Level III baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program

Security Clearance: Secret clearance based upon a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
