Our Team has an immediate opening in support of an existing  U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)  customer. This position will be to assume a lead roll over an existing suite of Web-based COTS and custom designed systems that provide business operations tools for the civilian and contractor workforce. Ideal candidates will be well qualified in the following  responsibilities and expectations 

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Work closely with our stakeholders and team leads to provide technical and systems design expertise to lead in various levels of programming, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of our business application.
• Performs examination and analysis for problem-solving with a focus on identifying improvements to system architecture, UI and business logic.
• Maintain cohesiveness in development, communication between users and stakeholders
• Ensure platform is stable, scalable, up to date and easy to extend.
• Come up with new development tools to simplify development (for example code generation), automation, deployment strategies, etc.
• Work with upper management to understand the long-term strategy for the system and ensure platform adapts over time to meet those long-term goals.
• Everything changes over time, ensure that platform evolution doesn't compromise any of the existing goals: stable, scalable, simple to develop against, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in technologies, frameworks and design patterns include;  Dynamic CRM (SDK), LINQ, SharePoint, Google Maps DSK, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 
• Proficiency in; C#, JavaScript asp.Net web forms, and MVC, SHTML, CSS
• Experience with scalable and complex distributed systems, performance analysis, and/or large-scale data processing
• Software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, configuration management)
• Experience with both Windows Servers
• Distributed Web Services design and deployment
• Performance testing and tuning
• Source code repositories
• Good oral and written communication skills, and analytical skills necessary

Preferred Requirements:

• BS or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in systems design
