Description

Position Description: Build, upgrade and maintain ePO v4.x and 5.x environments on networked and standalone systems. Install McAfee agent and modules to servers and end user machines (e.g: MA, DLP, HIPS, PA, VSE, ACCM, MSME). Maintain and administer ePO and all modules to meet the DoD mandated security requirements and directives. Configure and deploy McAfee HBSS Modules. Create custom firewall policies and work with Cyber Security teams to identify, configure and apply host-based IPS signatures to protect against zero-day threat. Create HIPS exclusions based on customer demand and the C&A approval process. Troubleshoot VM and SQL issues that conflict with the basic functionality of ePO. Using MS EMET; Perform and/or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established IA standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies. Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.

Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

Minimum Education Required: BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Six (6) years of relevant Cyber Security experience with an AA/AS can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.

Minimum Experience Required:

· Five (5) years’ experience with HBSS disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of specific HBSS tasks.
· Three (3) years of recent relevant IA/CS experience.
· IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, (or achieve within six months of TOA or hiring)

Security Clearance: Department of Defense Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.
