Position Type: Full Time Employee (no 1099’s)

Security Clearance: Active Secret (verifiable in JPAS)

Position: Software Developer/Engineer

Location: Patuxent River, Maryland

Team: Flight Clearance/Airworthiness

Essential Functions:

• Utilize C# and .NET framework to design, develop, enhance, test, and implement software for a Naval web application tracking aircraft suitability for safety of flight.
• Enhance application functionality to include role-based releasing of records and historical traceability
• Analyze and cleanse data issues within the database
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• 4 years of web-based software development experience using .NET, C#, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
• SQL Server and Oracle database knowledge required.
• JavaScript experience with knockout.js or similar framework

Desired:

• WindChill Application Administration
• Familiarity with ePower and ColdFusion
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with Team Foundation Server

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

*COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding and training will be virtual and telework maximized or permitted to the greatest extent possible, however on-boarding/training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week during the current COVID-19 situation. Several hours onsite support may be required at the end of each month to process month-end programs. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. On-site guidance regarding social distancing, PPE (wearing masks at all times), and proper handwashing/sanitization procedures are followed.
