Description

JSF IT - NEW 5 YEAR CONTRACT - HIRING NOW

Position Description:
Directs overall system level testing. Coordinates security-related activities with information security architects, senior information security officers, system developers, information system owners, common control providers, and information system security officers utilizing application of RMF and NISPOM as related to Certification and Accreditation. Has programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern systems; and to employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems. Integrating, planning, coordinating, and facilitating information system related activities such as upgrade of hardware and software, program and system design development of computer network software, and implementation of internet and intranet site software. Assists in the upkeep, maintenance and security of networks.

Minimum Education Required: BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Six (6) years of experience in designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems, employing best practices when implementing security controls within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.
  • One (1) year of the foregoing total experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in system security Certification & Accreditation (C&A).
  • Two (2) years’ experience in major defense acquisition programs.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in Vulnerability Assessment and/or Risk Analysis.
  • Level III certification in the Security Provision Category in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, (or achieve within six months of TOA or hiring).

Security Clearance: Department of Defense Top Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.
