Rollout Systems is looking for a SUPPORT DESK TECHNICIAN in Ridgecrest, CA

The Support Desk Technician is responsible for providing first level support through taking calls, answering emails and handling the resulting incidents or requests. Provide phone and help-desk support for end-users of a suite of web applications developed for the NAVAIR community.

The responsibilities of the Support Desk Technician include:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for user queries and issues
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
  • Create user accounts and provide access control and role verification
  • Provide users with username and password reset capability
  • Perform Naval Message parsing
  • Understand, support and implement AWIS processes and procedures as they apply to the role
  • Screen, refer and diagnose reported issues
  • Process web application access requests
  • Provide end-user software troubleshooting and support for common reported issues
  • Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma
  • 1+ year of experience providing help-desk support in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in computer troubleshooting and support.
  • Knowledge of web applications
  • Security+CE Certification
