JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a highly motivated and driven Project Manager (F-35) to work 2 Days Per Week Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and support all aspects of multiple moderate and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Participate as a member of and/or support the specified program or project team
  • Serve as interface and point of contact with Government action officers and representatives for any project issues
  • Analyze new and complex project related problems and create innovative solutions involving scheduling implementation of associated tasks
  • Prepare long and short-range plans for implementation of new and expanded technologies to included systems and application implementation, network expansion and transition to operational activities
  • Apply government-instituted processes for documentation operational and change control management
  • Analyze and track requirements, status of program/projects and schedules
  • Perform administrative work for non-routine research and administrative tasks related to the coordination and oversight of projects to ensure timely and effective project development and completion
  • Coordinate, prioritize and facilitate information within the department
  • Coordinate program or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives alongside senior leadership and program analyst(s)
  • Assist researchers and program analysts to define project scope and requirements
  • Participate in project budget planning and development
  • Assist the program analyst(s) with establishing the project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitor, review, and evaluate progress
  • Coordinate and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary
  • Record meeting discussions, as appropriate
  • Verify and analyze the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems
  • Prepare records of project activities (e.g. project charter, schedule, meeting minutes, lessons learned, risks); oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials
  • Monitor record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project.
  • Serve as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges information flow between project members, program analysts, and senior leadership, as required
  • Provide administrative support (formatting, etc.) to the Team Lead with protocol driven research proposals, technical report, final reports, and peer reviewed manuscripts or presentations

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8 years of experience within large and complex enterprise/corporate environments
  • Experience in analyzing program/project status and providing documentation to support project/program
  • Experience with ITSM based services

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)

  • CISM or CISSP
  • PMP and ITIL Foundations, within 3 months of hiring

 

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

 

EDUCATION

  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology. Allowable Substitution: 6 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree

COMPENSATION

The likely salary range for this position is $000,000 - $000,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
