SYSTEMS ENGINEER, SENIOR 
IMMEDIATE NEED
Minimum:  IAT Level II and Secret/SSBI or Top Secret Clearance

We are supporting knowledge-based, information assurance and cyber security IT services to the F-35 JSF Virtual Enterprise (JVE) network in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.

Responsibilities: The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for improving the IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs. The Senior Systems Engineer is also responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organizations business and technology activities. Additionally, this valuable team member will be involved in:

• Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements.

• Creating business architecture models to reflect the organizations strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals.

• Evaluating systems engineering and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities.

• Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.

• Providing business architecture and systems processing guidance.

• Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organizations goals.

• Creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.

• Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.

Minimum Education  and Years of Experience Required:

BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related IT discipline PLUS eight (8) years of experience in system design, development, and integration of all system elements required to provide an integrated IT solution. Two of these eight years shall have experience in technical, analytical, and project management type roles.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:
AA/AS degree PLUS twelve (12) years of experience in system design, development, and integration of all system elements required to provide an integrated IT solution. Two of these twelve years shall have experience in technical, analytical, and project management type roles.
High School Graduate PLUS sixteen (16) years of experience in system design, development, and integration of all system elements required to provide an integrated IT solution. Two of these twelve years shall have experience in technical, analytical, and project management type roles.

Breakdown of Experience Required:

• Experience in requirements definition, system design development, and documentation.

• Experience performing logical and physical system design and reviews and prepares system documents and specifications.

• Experience conducting technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with system; preparing reports, studies and documentation.

• Experience in modeling and graphic representations.

• Familiarity with DoDAF & other Architecture models.

• Familiarity with DOD network policy (especially circuit management) would be helpful.

• IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, i.e. CompTIA Security+ce or equivalent.

Security Clearance: Department of Defense  Top Secret clearance or a Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.

COVID-19 Vaccination: Rollout Systems does not have a vaccination mandate applicable to all employees.
