JSF IT - NEW 5 YEAR CONTRACT - HIRING NOW

Position Description: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Requires in depth knowledge and experience with Vsphere, Windows and Linux, VMware, F5 load balancers, HP server and storage hardware and configuration, provisioning and managing Linux (REHL) servers, designing and building VMware VSphere environments, upgrading and migrating VMware VSphere ESXi environments, installing and configuring vCenter Operations Manager, designing, building, and managing VMware Horizon View environments, designing, deploying, and managing Machine Creation Services, designing and managing Dell EqualLogic Storage Area Networks, including LUN creation, zoning, and multi- patching, designing, deploying, and managing Active Directory domain services, including DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Session Host, DFS, Microsoft Failover Clusters, and Microsoft NLB Clusters, DNS BIND, Infoblox (DHCP, IPAM, DNS), diagnosing and resolving vSphere performance issues, evaluating projected usage of CPU, storage, memory and network bandwidth to ensure future procurement planning and service delivery. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.

Minimum Education Required:

• For SENIOR position: MS or MA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience with an AA/AS can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
• For JOURNEYMAN position: BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience with an AA/AS can be substituted for a BA/BS degree

Minimum Experience Required:

• For SENIOR position: Six (6) years’ experience with VMware disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of specific virtualization system administrator tasks. Five (5) year of System and VMWare Administrator experience.
• For JOURNEYMAN position: Five (5) years of experience with VMware disciplines and protocols to include comprehensive knowledge of specific virtualization system administrator tasks. Three (3) years of System and VMWare Administrator experience.
• One of the following certifications: MCSA – Microsoft Certified System Administrator OR VCP – VMware Certified Professional.
• IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, (or achieve within six months of TOA or hiring).

Security Clearance: Department of Defense Secret clearance based upon a SSBI or SSBI-PR completed within the past five years.
