JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a highly motivated, driven, and talented Web Application System Administrator (Windows/Unix) to work Onsite 1-2 Days Per Week supporting our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support for application software running on servers
• Perform installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, documentation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows and Unix-based servers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server and software issues using Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence/Atlassian, TWS, Artifactory, Jenkins, Mailman, SonarQube, VoIP, ACAS, and more
• Provide direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal/external teams
• Follow and implement client’s Information Security’s standards to ensure the software and server environment is secure and protected from unauthorized access
• Other duties as assigned or required

 

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in application installation, configuration, and web/systems administration in a Unix & Windows environment
• Installation and configuration of web and application server software
• Experience working with Windows Servers 2016/2019, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Red Hat Linux (Apache - Open Source) web servers containing over 200 production applications: Cloud & on-prem, Unclass/Class networks, and supporting public-facing websites using serverless solutions
• Troubleshooting of server/software issues
• Experience with Ivanti, Heat, or Remedy ticketing system
• Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)

• CompTIA Security+
• Linux-based Certification, desired
• Tenable Security Center Certification, desired

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance

 

EDUCATION

• BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience

COMPENSATION

The likely salary range for this position is $91,520 - $120,640 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company-funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit-sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.
