ROLLOUT Systems would like to meet the best professionals in the industry able to provide operational support, help desk support, software maintenance, enhancement, and development support, and training on content management, support activities, and ultimately user-based content and training development that includes the development of learning and knowledge management systems.

The operational environment currently resides and will be supported on-site by the contractor at NAWS China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA. The Ridgecrest, CA / China Lake, CA area is rich in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and drone development, R&D, T&E and is an epicenter of cutting edge technology.

An active Department of Defense security clearance at a SECRET level, minimum is required. An Interim Secret may acceptable to start.

This important mid-to-senior WEB DEVELOPMENT POSITION on this relatively new five-year contract supports the software maintenance, enhancements, software design, development, testing, coding, integration, database administration, data analysis and logistics support for the All Weapons Information System (AWIS). 

Specifically, these services consist of deployment of new software modules and maintenance releases for existing modules; troubleshooting, training, and end user assistance with existing AWIS modules; logistics data collection and analysis; and configuration and data management.

The specific position in this posting for for a software development computer programmer to work on NAVAIR web applications. The contract labor category is a Computer Programmer IV. 

This mid- to senior-level position will develop, code, deploy and maintain web applications and websites with minimal supervision.

Additionally this position will focus highly on:

Provide web application development and technical support for NAVAIR web applications.

Provide technical consultation in new systems development; new package evaluations and enhancements of existing systems.

Prepare functional specifications from which programs will be written, then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs.

Participates in the technical design; development; testing; implementation and maintenance of NAVAIR web application enhancements.

Plan, schedule and conduct system tests; monitor test results and takes appropriate corrective action.

Maintains current knowledge of the principles; methods; and techniques used in web software development.

It is required that this position has the following qualifications:

A USA citizen with at least a high school diploma or a GED.

An active Department of Defense Secret (or higher) security clearance. Candidate must be able to maintain a clearance to be considered for this position.

At least eight (8) years of experience that includes software design, development, and test and evaluation.

Five (5) years of programming experience with .NET, SQL and SQL Server.

NOTE: High preference for candidate that desires to obtain a CSDP certification within a year and a half after assuming position duties.
