Research Analyst
Location: Arlington, VA
Security Clearance: Active DOD Secret Clearance Required

Full-Time Employee (no C2C or contract)

This position requires keen attention to detail and business writing skills.

•Must have strong Excel experience at an intermediate to expert level to provide support for various projects.

• Contract support for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office (JPO)

• Provide weekly reports to Directors on Office of the Chief Information Officer activities.

• Analyze program processes to improve efficiency and develop key performance indicators.

• Develop business case analysis of potential software procurements.

• Develop and analyze program metrics using Remedy ticket and change management metrics. Metrics include tickets and changes.

• Facilitate daily standup meeting with leadership to update tasks, projects, and initiatives.

• Articulation of thoughts and data in the proper written word of utmost importance.

• Provide requirements support to IT projects, including market research and reviews.

• Create, automate, and update weekly metrics on relevant program milestones in Microsoft Excel.

Additionally:

• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

• Includes program analysts and management consultants.

• Applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers.

• Comprehensive knowledge of: (1) theory and principles; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.

• Analyzes program/project status and provides documentation to support project/program.

Minimum Education Required:

• BS/BA degree in Business, Management or related financial discipline

• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional six (6) years of experience can be substituted for a BS or BA degree

Minimum Experience Required:

• Four (4) years of experience in management, technical or business analysis disciplines.
