Ideal Candidate may be a retired LDO-Limited Duty Officer (Mustang)/AMDO or Master Chief Petty Officer.

Rollout Systems at NAS Patuxent River, MD needs a retired LDO-Limited Duty Officer (Mustang)/AMDO or Master Chief Petty Officer with aviation maintenance background working a variety of TMS' across a NAVAIR spectrum of aircraft platforms and missions. This individual will be working with multiple NAVAIR/DoD maintenance organizations and  Program Offices to derive contractual requirements for multiple aircraft platforms and associated weapon systems. This position requires frequent (75% +)  travel, to multiple maintenance locations within the CONUS, therefore, the home base city for this individual may be flexible. Mileage and per diem per JFTRs. 

It is desired that the individual has exposure to DCMA activities, preferably managing a division that had coordination and oversight with Defense Contracting. In lieu of direct DCMA, it is highly desirable that this individual has extensive Contracting Officer Representative (COR) experience working a variety of TMS' across NAVAIR spectrum of aircraft platforms and missions.

Experience should include Organizational, Intermediate, and some interface experience with Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) directly. Experience should also include working knowledge of avionics, flight line operations, back shop support, and support equipment. Candidate should understand and have extensive interface with aircraft reporting as well as supply (DLA & NAVSUP) functions. This person must be capable of assessing complex aircraft maintenance operations and evaluating alternative commercial approaches and standards.
