JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a highly motivated and driven Software Developer Engineer to work Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze computer science, engineering, and other software engineering problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system design and development issues, or network concerns
• Perform software management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, software architecture, throughput, real-time processing limitations, Cybersecurity and software safety
• Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished, and Contractor furnished software
• Performs the role of Software Architect
• Collaborates with other NAVAIR departments such as System/Software Safety and Cyber detachment in performance of duties

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

• 5-10 years of software engineering experience, performing software requirements analysis, software design, software coding, software integration and software testing
• 3-5 years of experience performing software engineering functions for a DoD aircraft system, DoD weapons system, DoD mission system or DoD support system
• Experience utilizing development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control
• Experience developing and implementing solutions to complex applications problems, system design and development issues, or network concerns

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)

• CompTIA Security+ CE

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Active Secret Security Clearance

 

EDUCATION

• BS Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline to functional description or technical degree

COMPENSATION

The likely salary range for this position is $111,716 - $151,840 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company-funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit-sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.
