Description
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for generating and maintaining the Project Schedule through coordination and collaboration across the project team. The Project Scheduler provides project scheduling and project controls as project management support on various complex projects within the Government. The position requires exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Generate and maintain the Project Schedule that identifies key dates/milestones with tasks that specify sequence, duration, and interdependencies among the project’s work breakdown structure’s work packages.

2. Generate and maintain the Project Schedule with activity network, activity Gantt, milestone, and critical path views of the project schedule.

3. Generate and maintain both the Project Work Breakdown Structure and the Project Product Breakdown Structure within the Project Schedule.

4. Identify project and resource dependencies (predecessors and successors) to develop a predictive and realistic project schedule.

5. Perform schedule analysis to support change management and risk management assessments

6. Develop custom views and reports as required

7. Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.

8. Participate in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.

9. Leverage Microsoft Project 2013/2016 to execute schedule development and management responsibilities.

10. Support program and customer reviews

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. 4 years of related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 2 years of work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

2. 2-5 years of related work experience required

Skill and Abilities

1. Effective organizational skills

2. Proficiency in the use of MS Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint

3. Effective communication skills.

4. Basic knowledge of program requirements.
