The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations and maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training. 

BUSINESS PROCESS CONSULTANT (CHANGE MANAGER) - This position works at the right hand of the Program Manager and is an integral and high visibility partner in the program's success.  Please ensure your resume reflects actions and achievements for the below requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and manages change process by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted teams.
  • Analyzes and designs processes regarding Information Technology (IT) change management and enablement, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
  • Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules of change requests.
  • Participates as a member of the Performance Management and Service Delivery team.
  • Tracks change status and schedules, along with the status of ongoing projects/programs throughout the IT enterprise.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of implementing standards and processes using industry best practices.
  • As needed, performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have six (6) years of experience within a large and complex enterprise/corporate/federal environments.
  • Must have four (4) years of concurrent experience managing Change Requests to ensure they properly follow the approved ITIL/ISO 20000 process, customer SOPs and service SLAs.
  • Must have a Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in either an IT or business management field.
    • Candidate can substitute Education requirement with six (6) years of related experience OR four (4) years of related experience with an Associates Degree (AA/AS).
  • Must have four (4) years of concurrent experience with an ITSM tool (i.e. BMC Remedy/Helix, ServiceNow or Cherwell)
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and must be comfortable in facilitating meetings.

o Must be able to organize and run meetings on behalf of senior government officials.

  • Requires experience with Change Advisory/Approval Boards (CABs), the Request for Change (RFC) process and instilling a Change Management culture.
  • Must have experience editing or writing technical documentation.
  • Requires experience with ITSM based services.
  • ITIL Foundation Certified (or achieve within three months of hiring).
  • Must hold an active Interim Secret OR Secret level DOD security clearance.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Crystal City (Arlington, VA).

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiar with enterprise IT operations (both on-premise and cloud-based systems).
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word skills.
  • Beginner to intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Previous experience facilitating CABs, Technical Review Boards (TRBs), or other body responsible for reviewing changes or business requirements.
