Specifically, the technical recruiter will source information technology candidates who possess active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearances at the T3/T5 levels and industry certifications pursuant to DoD Directive 8140 (formerly 8570.01) Certification Requirements within contractor/government sector businesses, diversity, and military organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full life cycle tenacious recruiting. Must have a sales mentality, love to recruit and it shows – you can easily talk to anyone on the phone and have a genuinely understanding conversation. Rollout’s mantra: Be excellent. Treat people with decency. Have fun.
- Partner with the company President and VP of Business Development to fulfill the company’s hiring goals.
- Partner with and have discussions with program managers to learn all you can about the programs so you can sell the position to candidates.
- Develop a long- and short-term strategy to identify superior technical talent that includes disciplines such as cyber-security, network and systems professionals, technology architects, system developers, computer programmers, and other cleared information technology professionals.
- Use your dynamic sourcing strategies and our tools, within budget, to develop and qualify top talent for consideration by contract leadership.
- Performs candidate management and qualification of resumes to labor categories to include validation of certifications and security clearance status.
- Orchestrates initial candidate analysis and technical review for presentation of candidate to program managers.
- Foster Rollout’s candidate relationship management to maintain open lines of communication with candidates in active stages of evaluation.
- Post and maintain positions on our ATS (ApplicantStack) and various fee-based resume repositories.
- Knowledge of OFCCP, FLSA, SCA, AAP and general employment law. Partner with Director of HR to provide reporting metrics from ATS for compliance reports.
- Participate in job fairs, community philanthropic and industry events.
- This position is a direct report to the Business Development organization within Rollout Systems. Thus, this position is an integral participant in proposal staffing initiatives as a partner to the business development division of Rollout Systems. This activity includes but is not limited to consideration of company resumes and sourcing of external candidates to proposal labor categories.
Qualifications
- Must have technical recruiting experience with DoD NAVAIR, NAWCAD, NAVSEA, etc, government contractor(s).
- Adept at performing in a collaborative team environment on-site, and disciplined to produce in your remote office. Our corporate office is located in California, MD (Maryland), near the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
- This position will attend local interviews and participate in corporate meetings as required. This position is considered hybrid in the geographic area of southern Maryland.
- Familiarity with Facility Security Officer (FSO) function in verification of clearances and initiation of access after offer acceptance. A T3 (Secret) clearance is desired but not mandatory. Must be a US citizen and able to get a clearance.
- Familiar with various AI augmentation tools.
- Proficient with O365, SharePoint, and LinkedIn.
- At least 3 years of direct hire technical recruiting experience within the federal contracting domain.
Target Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications. This is in no way a final pay range and is subject to change.
